Description
While ‘Reporting’ is the term referred to most for business monitoring, ‘Insight Generation’ points to a deeper dive into causes of business performance, and associated recommendations to enhance results.
In our Insight Generation course, we take students through a journey of discovery in understanding how to select, and uncover insight from their business data. We use common enterprise tools, or open source tools, to guide students how to go from analysis brief to compelling presentation which move the needle. As students work through a theoretical case study, we focus on how to critically analyze data, blend business knowledge and theory with real-world testing, and practice presenting our findings to convince a receiving audience that our insights are sound. This course grows students’ comfort zones, ensuring they are able to hook audiences with strong and confident arguments to support their findings.
